Cool Math Games Run 3 also known as Run Mobile, is the third game in the Run trilogy. It is simply called “Run” on mobile devices, leading to confusion with Run 1.
Cool Math Games Run 3
Cool Math Games Run 3 was made by Player 03, and first published on June 5, 2014. It is currently being updated. There are currently more than 20 playable side tunnels, and 306 levels, with 298 levels published and playable. The first is the same normal grey alien who’s decent in all aspects. The second character is the one with skates. He is fast but does not have the jumping skills he had from last game. He still is extremely hard to control.
The third character is a lizard-like thing that jumps very high and far. Other than that he is pretty simple. He runs at a regular speed. But there is one thing that sucks about him. After using this character for a certain amount of time, the character will “fall asleep.” Really it is going on cool down. One other thing Cool Math Games Run 3 introduces is collapsing tiles. When you step on one, all connecting tiles will fall apart.
Game Play of Cool Math Games Run 3
Cool Math Games Run 3 takes place in a series of tunnels in space. There are ten playable characters, each with their own personalities and abilities. Cool Math Games Run 3 introduces a number of new mechanics, including Crumbling Tiles, Ramps, Darkness and the ability to re-enter a tunnel after jumping out.
An in-game currency was added as well, called Power Cells which are used to buy the characters and upgrades for various parts of the game in the Shop. However, the Bonuses from Run 2 no longer exist, and Boxes no longer appear in the middle of a tunnel. The only exception is in Bridge Building, where boxes are pushed using rings.
Cool Math Games Run 3 – Game Modes
There are two main game modes in Cool Math Run 3 – Explore Mode and Infinite Mode. Along with these there are also some other features such as the Shop and the Level Editor.
- Explore Mode:
Explore mode is the main attraction of Run 3. There are currently 298 playable levels, and at least 306 will eventually be playable. Explore mode consists of the Main Tunnel, which has 65 levels, more than 20 side tunnels, two mini games, and cut scenes that fit between some levels. You can unlock some characters from playing Explore mode, and the winter and Halloween costumes.
- Infinite Mode:
Infinite mode consists of pre-made levels in a random order. Your progress is not saved between levels, so instead, your goal is to finish as many levels in a row as possible. The levels repeat if you travel far enough, so there’s no way to win. The main purpose of Infinite mode is collecting power cells, the in-game form of currency.
The shop is where you can go to buy characters (like the Skater for example), upgrades, and costumes. Currently, the shop has 17 items.
You can design levels with it! You can use different types of tiles in this game mode, and you can have the option to test your own-made game. Every time you play test your level once, the level editor will show the route of your game play, allowing you to tweak the levels even more. You can even change the tile color, the type of tiles and the size of it. Moreover, you can make a level set, which means you can string up your levels like a tunnel!
